Welcome to Greenfield Cricket Club’s home-on-the-web
The Club has been an integral part of the Greenfield and Saddleworth community since 1899 when it was founded.
Greenfield Cricket Club was a founder member of the Saddleworth & District Cricket League of which it remained a member until 2015 when the league merged with the Central Lancashire Cricket League to form the J.W. Lees Brewery Pennine Cricket League. Following the demise of the Pennine League after two seasons the club joined the Greater Manchester Cricket League.
We run five open age teams of including a Women’s team. Our 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th XI’s play in the GMCL. Our Women’s XI plays in the Cheshire Women’s Cricket League. We have youth teams at U18, U15, U13, U11 and U9 who enjoy the services of qualified volunteer coaches. We also have an active Girls Cricket section.
GCC has:
- Largest junior section in the area
- Five senior teams including a women’s team.
- Two T20 teams
- Clubhouse with fully licensed bar, Sky TV and pool table
- Full calendar of social events
- Clubmark approved
